The goal of the SafeRide America Apartment Program is to;

• Create awareness about the dangers of impaired driving
• Offer residents, employees and guests a pro-active on-property solution to impaired driving
• Reduce property damage caused by impaired drivers
• Reduce the number of police related incidents on your property
• Reduce the number of late payments and evicitions

Did you know that in 2000 NHTSA reported in The Economic Impact of Motor Vehicle Crashes that the total economic cost of motor vehicle crashes in the United States was $230.6 billion. Property damage accounted for $59 billion of which 22% or $13 billion was caused by impaired drivers. How much of that $13 billion was on your property?

Since 2000, the award-winning SafeRide America program has been actively addressing the problem of impaired driving in the Atlanta community. We would like to partner with your property to help make our MISSION a reality.

Our non-profit social enterprise, SafeRide America, offers three distinct public services designed specifically to stop impaired driving before it can happen.

• SafeRide Service-A low cost, one-way, driver-for-hire service for you and your car
• SafeChauffeur Service-Rent a professional driver by the hour
• SafeParty Service-Rent a dedicated team of drivers for your party or event

To date the SafeRide America program drivers have safely transported over 50,000 people in 25,000 cars in the metro Atlanta area. We have been recognized by Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin, issued a proclamation by the Atlanta City Council and are official partners in impaired driving prevention with the Georgia State Patrol. We have been featured in the AJC three times, at least once on every local news channel and on many local radio programs including Dave FM, Project 961, 99x and Q100. We are also the proud recipient of the TBS Pathfinder Award for Public Safety.

Our continued success relies on our ability to expand our programs and services to the local community. To continue our life-saving mission we need your support. We are reaching out to every apartment home community in metro Atlanta and asking each property to make a minimum financial contribution of $100 per property to support our impaired driving awareness and prevention efforts. To show our appreciation for your support your property employees, residents and resident guests will receive;

• $5 off of our $20 pick-up fee when using SafeRide Service to or from your property
• "Pay-us-later" privilages when money is a problem
• $5 per hour discount on our SafeChauffeur Service (regularly $25 per hour)
• 10% off SafeParty Services
• Daytime SafeRide Service from medical and dental facilities for out-patient procedures

Additional property benefits include;

• Digital SafeRide America logo and content for your newsletter and/or web site
• Your property will have an online listing on our "Participating Communities" web page
• For $50 extra dollars per year we will include a custom online reservation form for your property
• Reduce property damage caused by impaired drivers
